The City of Puerto Princesa , the capital of Palawan, is a first class city in the Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 210,508 people in 33,306 households. It is famous for its crocodile farms, underground river and dive spots. It is also the largest city in the Philippines in terms of total land area.

During the Spanish colonization of the Philippines, Taytay became the capital of the Province of Calamianes, the entire territory of Palawan, in 1818; and the Province of Castilla, a land area occupying the northern part of Palawan, in 1858. During the American era, Taytay ceased being Palawan’s capital, and its administrative boundary was reduced by approximately 500,000 hectares upon the creation of the Municipality of El Nido in 1916.
Taytay is a 1st class municipality, with a population of 61,991, according to the 2007 census.

Roxas, Palawan is a fist class municipality located along the eastern shoreline of the island of Palawan. The municipality comprises of barangays or towns running from South to North from Tinitian to Ilian. Except for New Cuyo and a few other locations inland, towns are connected by beautiful beaches running along its shoreline.
It has a population of 51,084 people, according to the 2007 census report.

Aborlan was established in 1910 and was made a regular municipality in 1951. It is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. It lies in a vast plain between the Sulu Sea and the mountains. It is located 69 kilometers south of Puerto Princesa City.
According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 27,953 people.

Narra is a 1st class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. On JUne 18, 1954, Republic Act 1160 approves the creation of National Resettlement Rehabilitation Administration, from which this municiplaity took its name.
According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 62,525 people.
