Brooke’s Point was officially declared as a separate municipality on June 24, 1949 through Executive Order No. 232. It is a first class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. It is 192 km. away from Puerto Princesa, and is a 4-hour drive via land transport.
According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 56,311 people.
